I moved to California in 1978. John and his wife Phyllis became my family. They welcomed me and whomever I brought over, a successive series of girlfriends, my future wife, Donna and of course, our children. Their home became our place of warmth and love through successive crises, celebrations and holidays. This blog celebrates and honors my love for them and an investigation of art from a very subjective point of view.

I just wanted to post what I think is a really outstanding piece by John Lynch. It was to appear in a show at the Calabi Gallery this October but it need some slight restoration and cleaning. Denis will probably show it in his next show. I expect that it will go for about $4000- a bargain at that price.

Laura Hoffman
I feel like I have so many things to write. I have been delaying. It has been a big painting weekend for me. I have started some new things. I gotten some new ideas and I will show some of my things soon.
Mostly I would like to publicize my friend href="http://laurahoffman.com/index.html">Laura Hoffman. I have know her many years. She has a very individual style with obvious Mexican influences. I especially love her nudes. That is why I have posted one here.
