I moved to California in 1978. John and his wife Phyllis became my family. They welcomed me and whomever I brought over, a successive series of girlfriends, my future wife, Donna and of course, our children. Their home became our place of warmth and love through successive crises, celebrations and holidays. This blog celebrates and honors my love for them and an investigation of art from a very subjective point of view.

Post AATS- Pre John Lynch at the Source
Art at the Source went very well for me. I sold quite a few painting- all in the first weekend. Then I sold lots of cards all through the two weekends. Jim Curtis and the Sebastopol Art Center has allowed me to hold on to my panels for a bit.
I have decided to put together a show of John's work. It's hard to decide what to put up- but certainly a retrospective at this point. I would love to do a show of just his World War II drawings and paintings. They're fabulous. Also I have in mind at some point to show the paintings of his friends along with some historical background.
This is the first announcement that something like this will happen. Stay tuned.
